Almond Crescent Cookies


If you’re looking for a good sugar-free cookie, here it is. You can’t even tell there’s no sugar. Coconut palm sugar is sold in health food stores. It has a carmely taste similar to brown sugar.

2 sticks butter, softened
1 cup coconut palm sugar
1 tsp almond extract
1 cup toasted almonds, coarsely chopped
2 cup almond flour

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter, sugar and almond extract. Add nuts and combine. Add flour and combine. Bake for 15 – 18 minutes. Let sit until cool.
