Looking Back on a Fabulous Year

30Dec12

First of all, we want to wish everyone a very safe and happy New Year.

This has been one of the most fullfilling years for us. Here’s our top 10 2012 biggies. We have a lot to celebrate.

  1. My daughter, Amanda graduated in June
  2. Eric retired at the end of September
  3. Got engaged in October
  4. Moved to Tennessee at the end of October (Yes, this is the way it looks. We moved here first and escrow closed after we got here!)
  5. Bought a new house, closing escrow on November 7
  6. Spent Thanksgiving with my brother and parents
  7. New tractor
  8. New greenhouse
  9. Spent Christmas with my parents (it’s been 15 years)
  10. New horse

We bought fireworks and are going to shoot them off in the pasture. One of the nice things here is the kind of fireworks you can get. They’re not the measly stunted things you buy in California only in July. You can buy them any time and they are big and beautiful like the ones you go see in a stadium.

The new year does not hold any big resolutions for us. We do plan on getting married in the Spring of 2013.

Yeah! It’s not the end of the world (LOL)!

Happy New Year!
