Invisible Fence

07Apr13

For the past 3 days, we’ve been working to get our deer fencing up for the garden (mainly to keep the dogs out). We couldn’t have picked a better week. It’s been so beautiful.

Eric reused t-posts from the ones he removed in the garden pasture. The t-posts only came to 4 1/2 feet tall. To extend the fence further, we had to zip tie branches to the t-posts. This gave us an additional 3 feet. Between the posts, we used invisible poly deer netting.

After installing the fencing, it really is as advertised, “invisible”. Daisy ran into it the first day. I’m glad to have a fence up. I don’t think the plants could take anymore episodes of the dogs laying on them.
