Intended and Unintended Flowers

09Apr13

Here in Tennessee, people plant dafodils randomly…so we followed suit. Except it was a little late! They still grew. They are starting to bloom and they’re gorgeous. Eric planted them in back of the pool, the planters, around the entry fence and in the grass out front.

In the grass are these little blue flowers called grape hyacinth. I love them. They smell good. The flowers in the last photo are wood violets. They’re so beautiful. They remind me of violas.

I’m not sure anyone plants daffodils. They seem to come up everywhere because an old house was there or birds cary them around. They are in all the road ditches. D
